Building a strong foundation is a tool that will help you create positive momentum, it will help you get more security, it will help you to develop further than if you hadn’t secured a strong foundation before you started, it will help you get an edge over others who haven’t built a strong foundation, it will help give you more power and love and ultimately, it will help you to feel excellent.

Building a strong foundation will create positive momentum because when you secure one thing at a time, it gives you solid stepping stones to move forward on, and the more stones you have laid for your foundation, the more you can build on top of them. It will also bring into effect the power of compounding because securing assets one after another tends to create exponential growth. Building a strong foundation will give you more security by making sure that you have a cushion for error for unexpected occurrences, because an unexpected windstorm isn’t going to move a mountain. It will allow you to develop further than if you hadn’t secured a strong foundation before you started because you can’t build a skyscraper on a cement slab; skyscrapers are built by digging an enormously deep and wide foundation under the earth, and then building upwards. The deeper and wider the foundation, the taller and wider the building. Success built on a strong foundation is the only success that lasts.

Build a strong foundation by, in general, securing your future and not gambling it. When mastering a skill, master the basics before mastering the more complex parts of the skill. Use, create and do positive things that last, and have a high lifetime value, such as getting lasik surgery if you have bad eyesight. Use things that are durable, and will last as long as possible and still have a high utility value. Make sure that you are securing durable things to use in your life by researching their durability, experimenting and observing how successful others have been with using them. Secure one thing at a time, but really secure it. Keep things simple. Build safety nets that can catch you when you fall down, such as insurance. I use safety nets by falling back on my intuition and trusting my feelings when I don’t logically know what to do in certain situations. Health insurance and home insurance can both be very valuable in giving you a cushion for any unexpended occurrences to your health or home. Be adaptable. And build your mental foundation on solid principles that last, and things you know to be true like one plus one equals two.

If you don’t have a strong foundation already, have faith that you will have a strong foundation. Say to yourself: “I will have a strong foundation soon.” Stimulate your mind by asking yourself “How can I build a strong foundation?” Imagine that you already have built a strong foundation for success your mind will start giving you ideas as to how to make it happen. You have to be careful of becoming too rigid by making sure your foundation is balanced between structure and flexibility, you can do this mentally by making you mind composed of a series of tools and principles, and not a whole giant machine or a series of programs that will stop working if one piece malfunctions or breaks. Use tools, not machines. You can also help yourself create a strong mental foundation by really understanding and incorporating the tools I am teaching you.

Build a strong foundation for your health by eating as high a percentage of raw and organic foods as possible, drinking purified water and exercising, taking vitamin C and drinking green tea every morning. Build a strong foundation for your finances by reducing your expenses, increasing your income and investing in or creating assets that either put money in your pocket on a regular basis or appreciate in value and are relatively liquid. Get insurance when possible and reasonable, to keep you wealth safe. Build a strong foundation for your dating and social life by going out and meeting new people on a regular basis. Just show up to social events (like dances) where you know you will be forced to interact with people. Even just walk up to friendly looking people and ask them “How’s it going?” to jumpstart a great conversation. As Tony Robbins says, “Repetition is the mother of skill.”

I hope that you begin to use this power more, or just more effectively, and that it helps you to feel excellent, and I hope that you let me know how it works out for you, what your thoughts and feelings are about it, and if you have any questions!

Thanks and sincerely,
